1. Attaching the monitoring point stickers
Take the monitoring point stickers out of the package and attach them to the correct monitoring points.
Monitoring points include, for example:
- cold rooms
- dishwashers
- blast chillers
2. Installing the NSnappy® Hub base station
- Install the NSnappy® Hub base station first.
- The base station should be in as a central location as possible in relation to the cold rooms.
- Make sure that the socket is not controlled by a main switch, for example.
- The base station should be installed at a height of around 180 cm.
- Use the mounting equipment provided to install the base station in place.
- You can also choose not to use the wall bracket and place the base station on a shelf, for example.
Installing the base station’s wall bracket
- Mark at least two positions for the screws at a height of around 180 cm.
- Drill holes to a depth of 32 mm, using a 6 mm drill bit (if using the plugs included in the delivery).
- Mount the wall bracket so that the arrow points upwards
- Install the screws behind the base hub to attach it to the wall bracket, and secure the base station to the wall bracket using the thumb screw on the side.

Installing the wall brackets of NSnappy® measuring devices
General instructions for all wall brackets:
The wall brackets of NSnappy measuring devices come with mounting stickers.
Clean and dry the mounting surface before attaching the mounting stickers.
The double-sided tape is activated with pressure, so keep pressing on the wall bracket for at least 30 seconds to ensure a good hold.
If you have problems with getting the sticker to stick, for example in a freezer, you can secure the installation by using at least one screw at the bottom edge of the bracket.
Installation of NSnappy® Kide storage facility measurement device
- NSnappy Kide measuring device has two parts: the wall bracket and the measuring device attached to it:
- The wall bracket of the Kide cold room transmitter has a serial number based on which the transmitter registers with the digital NSnappy service.
- You can find the serial number in the device list provided. The list also includes the monitoring point, to which the wall bracket should be attached.
Check the instructions: Installing the wall brackets of NSnappy® measuring devices
NSnappy® Kide installation spots (examples)
- In large cold rooms/freezers, the wall bracket should be installed on the supply air side of the refrigeration unit.
- In vertical cabinets, it should be installed on the hinge side, as close to the center as possible.
Drawers
- The transmitter is not mounted; it should be placed inside one of the drawers (it should fit comfortably in the designated drawer).
- Attach the monitoring point sticker to the point where the transmitter can be found.
Display cabinets
- The transmitter is not mounted; but should instead be placed on the bottom of the display cabinet with the products.
- Attach the monitoring point sticker to the point where the transmitter can be found.
Installation of NSnappy® Cool measurement device
- Unlike in the Kide cold room transmitter, the ID serial number is in the transmitter itself.
- The wall bracket of the cooling transmitter is installed on the control panel of the cooling unit or, alternatively, on its side. Check the instructions: Installing the wall brackets of NSnappy® measuring devices
- After installation, remove the protective rubber plug covering the cooling transmitter’s sensor.
Installation of NSnappy® Wash dishwashing measurement device
- Unlike in the Kide cold room transmitter, the ID serial number is in the transmitter itself.
- In rack conveyor dishwashers, the wall bracket of the Wash transmitter is installed at the loading end.
- In hood type dishwashers, the wall bracket of the Wash transmitter is installed next to the machine’s control panel.
- PLEASE NOTE! Do not install in a place that would prevent the dishwasher’s hatch from opening.
